The History of Strategic Leadership Institute
SLI was conceived in 1998 by John B. Savage, and incorporated and began training leaders in 1999. Historically, our emphasis has been on faith-based agencies, but SLI has provided specific training to a wide range of non-profit organizations. Leaders of the following organizations have participated in our training program designed specifically for non-profit organizations:

Our latest certificate program, the Certificate in Strategic Pastoral Leadership, has trained pastors and leaders from the city of Tukwila, Washington, who represent the following community organizations:
Ebenezer Church of God in Christ Fellowship Bible Church Foster-Tukwila Presbyterian Church Grace Point Community Church (Conservative Baptist) Neighborhood Life Center of the Assemblies of God Riverton Place of the Union Gospel Mission Love, Inc. of South King County Tukwila Police Chaplaincy
SLI plans to add programs for the small business community, for civic leaders, and a leadership development program for high school students. Each program would have a unique application of the four basic modules: community development, personal growth, professional enhancement and strategic planning.
